our founding story
The idea for Tuli Lodge began during a 2023 trip to Norway, where our founder Hannah discovered sauna culture. The mix of heat, cold, and casual community felt electric, and nothing like the spa-style saunas back home.
When Hannah returned to Seattle, she couldn’t find an affordable, social version of that experience. So in 2025, she left her role at TikTok, traded algorithms for firewood, and set out to build something new: a sauna that feels more like your favorite neighborhood hangout than a luxury spa.
That vision became Tuli Lodge: Seattle’s social sauna.
