About Tuli Lodge
The Experience
Sauna 101
Tuli means fire in Finnish. We wanted a name that felt cozy, welcoming, playful, and that gives a nod to the Nordic roots of sauna culture.
It’s like your favorite dive bar, but no sloshy beer on the floor and your body will leave feeling better not worse. A social sauna is a place to sweat, chill, and connect — with friends, strangers, or just yourself. Think fewer screens, more steam.
We'll be hosting an outpost at Old Stove Ship Canal in North Queen Anne for the the month of May, and maybe longer if we're lucky!
We have another spot launching late May that is a secret, but if you come visit us at Old Stove wel'll tell you in person 👀
We sure hope so! at the end of the day, the decision will be up to both Friends of Waterfront Park and the City of Seattle!
Want tuli to return to pier 62 next winter? Help us put in a good word to the decision makers!!

Sauna is ancient, science-backed, and feels amazing. It boosts mood, improves circulation, supports recovery, and makes winter feel like a blessing, not a curse.
No robes and hushed whispers here. We’re a little more campfire energy than cucumber water. Tuli Lodge is a sauna social club — not a silent retreat.

Actually, no!
Our goal is to build out a more permanent home (or homes...) in Seattle, and then actually grow to every major city in the US!
Until we land in that long-term home, we'll be jumping from place-to-place. Have any recs or requests for where we land permanently? Please drop us a line! hei@tuli-lodge.com, we'd love to hear from you!
We sent the following communication to all credit holders on Pier 62. Unfortunately due to technical issues and poor consumer experience, we switched booking softwares from Mariana Tek to Arketa. With this move, unfortunately transferring over credits was not as easy as wanted.
hey there,
we want to remind you something super important and bittersweet: any credits or packages in your tuli lodge account will expire on April 30, 2026.
when you purchased your credits, our residency at pier 62 came with a fixed end date: April 30 is when our lease concludes and we officially move out. all credits were sold as non-refundable credits for tuli lodge at pier 62, and that's reflected in the original purchase agreement that you signed.
we also want to be transparent: our booking software doesn't automatically expire credits on a specific date, so this won't happen on its own in the app, which may lead to confusion. we are terribly sorry about that and it's one of many reasons why we're actively looking for a better booking software. we want to give you as long of a heads up as possible so you have plenty of time to enjoy the credits you've got!
you might be wondering: can I transfer my credits to wherever tuli opens next? we'd love to say yes, and if we have a clear landing spot confirmed, we'll absolutely look at ways to honor credits there. but we unfortunately don't have a locked-in next location yet, and we don't want to make promises we can't keep. so, we need to hold strong with the pre-set credit expiration date.
what we can say: we're working hard on what comes next, and we're excited about it.
in the meantime, you have thru april 30 to come enjoy some sauna and cold plunge with tuli @ pier 62. we've extended our hours and are open every day but tuesday!!

thank you for being part of the tuli community. we've built something really special at pier 62, and it's because of you!!!
see you in the sauna,
hannah & the tuli team
Showers: sadly no!
Due to strict conservation requirements, we do not have any run-off from our experience into the sound -- we actually pump out and truck off all of our cold plunge water! As a result, we unfortunately can't have any showers at our Pier 62 location!
Changing rooms: yes!
Our changing rooms are inside of a converted shipping container, partitioned by curtains. If you prefer a lockable changing room, you can walk down (~1 minute) to the Pier's public (single stall + heated) bathrooms.
Lockers: yes!
We've got lockers, but please bring your own lock.
If you forgot a lock and there is anything you have that is valuable, we can lock it inside of our staff's office upon request. Please note that we cannot guarantee the safeguard of any of your things as we're in a public park!
Bathrooms: yes!
Our closest bathrooms are a short (~1 minute) walk on the Pier to the public restrooms managed by Friends of Waterfront Park.
When the bathrooms are closed to the public but Tuli is open, we have a secret key we can lend out to guests to use the bathroom!
