a few things to know before you come to tuli
welcome to tuli lodge, seattle’s social sauna and plunge spot for people who love heat, cold, and good energy. here’s everything you need to know before your session so you can just show up and melt right in.
❤️🔥 setting your expectations
please note, we're a very scrappy savings-funded start-up in our first couple of days (!!) of operating, and we're still working out the kinks. we really appreciate you being patient with us if we mess something up (which is very possible!).
it's also important to note that we're not a spa, and we're not a luxury establishment. that means we don't provide towels or have fancy locker rooms or amenities, but we also price our sessions accordingly (we're the cheapest sauna in town by a decent amount). we're doing our best to enhance the experience as we have the capital to do so!
🕓 arrivals
please arrive 5-10 minutes early to check in, change, and get cozy. sessions start right on time. if you’re late, we can’t extend your booking.
missed it?
no-shows and cancellations within 12 hours are subject to a fee (see our cancellation policy for full details).
👙 what to bring
-
a swimsuit (required - no street clothes inside the sauna)
-
a towel (this is a MUST - you can't sit on the benches without one). we're working on sourcing some towel options but finding it hard to secure a vendor who can work with us on such a short term (6 month) contract, so please bring your own!
-
a water bottle
-
optional: sandals or slides, and a robe if you want to stay extra cozy
💦 sauna + plunge etiquette
-
sit on a towel in the sauna (always!)
-
keep convo friendly, light, and inclusive. tuli lodge is a safe space, and disrespectful or inappropriate behavior is not tolerated
-
when going in and out of the sauna, please try to close the door quickly (that's how heat escapes)
-
no shoes inside the sauna
-
food and drink stays outside of the sauna
-
phones are cool for quick photos, just be respectful. no filming others without getting their explicit permission. we'd love to keep tuli a "phone-lite" zone, so pls keep ur tiktok watching to other spots around town
-
if possible, please shower before you sweat (though we know this one isn't always possible)
🚫 health + safety
-
if you’re feeling unwell, dizzy, or lightheaded, step out, cool down, and hydrate.
-
skip the sauna if you’re sick, pregnant, under the influence, or have health concerns without consulting a doctor first.
-
we reserve the right to ask anyone to leave if behavior feels unsafe or disruptive.
💳 cancellations + no-shows
-
cancel 12+ hours before your session = no fee
-
cancel within 12 hours = $20 fee (or loss of one credit)
-
no-shows = $25 fee
-
we have a no-show fee, which is supplemental to a loss of credit, so that if we have a waitlist, those people get the chance to attend
-
but also, we get it, life happens, and we're human! we're not out to get you, we're just tryin to create a culture of communication and getting as many people into tuli as possible.
if you get sick or have an extenuating circumstance and need to cancel, please just let us know at hei@tuli-lodge.com.
